1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Price Check (price.motes.org), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activities under your account. Price Check accounts are part of the shared motes.org / Hoofprint Games auth system — the same login works across The5, Herdle, and TurdQuest.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Players under 18 should review the Privacy Policy section on users under 18, and note that usernames and scores are shown publicly on leaderboards.

3. Acceptable Use

• No cheating or automated bots.
• No harassment or hate speech toward other players or contributors.
• Do not attempt to access or modify other users' accounts or data.
• Respect the intellectual property of The Hoofprint and its contributors.

4. Content Ownership & Item Data

You retain ownership of your username and profile information. By registering, you grant us a license to display your username and game statistics on the site and its leaderboards.

Daily items are drawn from real, live eBay Buy It Now listings via eBay's Browse API; item photos, titles, and descriptions are the property of their respective eBay sellers and are used here for editorial/gameplay purposes only. Price Check is not affiliated with or endorsed by eBay Inc.

Grocery items and prices are retrieved from the Kroger Developer Products API. Product names, images, and pricing are the property of The Kroger Co. and its suppliers, and are used here for editorial/gameplay purposes only. Price Check is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Kroger Co. Kroger, and the banner names under which it operates, are trademarks of The Kroger Co.

Retail product results may also be retrieved from Google Shopping through SerpApi. Product names, images, retailer names, and prices belong to their respective owners and are used here for editorial/gameplay purposes only. Price Check is not affiliated with or endorsed by SerpApi, Google, or any displayed retailer.

5. Disclaimers

Price Check is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Listed prices reflect an eBay listing, a specific Kroger store location, or a Google Shopping result at the time the item was selected. Prices are snapshots for gameplay purposes and may not reflect current availability, shipping, promotions, or in-store pricing — do not rely on them for shopping decisions. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these terms, at our discretion.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Changes are effective when posted here with a new effective date.
